Gasthof Krancher

Just 0.9 mi from the River Rhine, this guest house is set on a vineyard overlooking the wine-growing town of Rüdesheim. Gasthof Krancher offers a traditional restaurant, wine cellar and a terrace. Family-run for 5 generations, Gasthof Krancher features classically furnished rooms. All rooms include a TV and private bathroom, and some also have views of St. Hildegard Abbey and the vineyards. Guests can enjoy a selection of regional Rhineland specialties, including vegetarian dishes. Local Riesling and Pinot Noir wines from Krancher's own vineyard can also be purchased at the on-site Vinarium wine shop. Rental bikes are available at Gasthof Krancher. It is an ideal base for visiting Rüdesheim’s Medieval Old Towne or exploring the UNESCO Middle Rhine Valley on a hiking or cycling tour. On-site parking is free at Gasthof Krancher. It is 50 minutes from central Frankfurt and a 1-hour drive from Koblenz.

Please note that the reception is closed on Wednesdays. If you will be arriving on a Wednesday, please call Gasthof Krancher in advance to get the access code for your key. Please also note that private parking spaces are subject to availability. A reservation is not possible.
